Hi,

I have downloaded the free version but I can't test the Advance Search options with this version.

Can I do the following with VP-ASP Plus?

Do a product search on Category > Subcategory > Select from two parameters (these can be features) from dropdowns to narrow down the search. Display the results in a summary page with links to details for each product found.

The parameters will be different depending on the Category.

I saw something similar at http://www.issidata.com/shopsearch.asp. It doesn't have the two parameters to select but has the first part.

Will this be relative easy to do or is this considered customization? Please keep in mind I'm brand new to vpASP and I need to be up and running quickly.

If I need customization, can I get this done by vpASP or someone from the forum?

It would help me a great deal to know before I buy vpASP.

You can select the categories from a dropdown, then have tickboxes for field you want to search on. so basically you can only search 1 specific categories or all categories.

Thanks Kidd for your quick response and pointing me in the right direction.
I'll take a look at the screen shots and figure out how to make it work for my application.
