Why, when I set the following to "yes", I can only go two deep on the categories.

xcategoryusetemplate=yes

When I set it to "no, I can go as deep as my categories are.

Any help?

I have it set to Yes in version 5.0 and 5.5, and it works fine for me for many levels of category hierarchy. Could a problem with a template cause your problem? Have you tried the default template?

Yes I am useing default template. Most everything is default, i'm just starting to set it up

In your category template, instead of using an anchor tag to shopdisplaproducts.asp, use the [FORMATHYPERLINKS SUB] control. This will check whether the category has subcategories or not and use this to determine which page to link to.
