At the moment my order form is fine for email. However I am doing some editing on the store. I believe once these areas go live and a customer orders the products it will not have the correct information the way it was in the past in the Products area.

I believe right now somewhere it is set for cname & cdescription to fall under the products section and I just do not know where to look for that specifically.

So I wanted to know if I can change that somewhere to show instead ccode and cname for the Products in the emails I receive and my customer receives since in future my cdescription for the items in the store is just for the customers to read a brief description of the item and that would take up too much room if it shows up in the future order forms.

The ccode is my item number and of course the cname is the product name. At the moment the cdescription also has the item number as it would only show up in the emails that way but I am wanting to do it differently with the description of the item only. This cart was set up this way by someone else.

Does anyone know how I can do this and please when you write me do it where I understand it. I read a lot of the forums tonight and could not find anything pertaining to this specifically.

Thank you.

Hi 1stpita,

in your admin panel go to tab Advanced Settings and click on Software Configuration. In the field name search box type in xcartfields. Change the text in that box to ccode, cname and then click continue. This means that when a customer puts a product in your cart this is the information that goes into the cart and then gets passed on through to the cofirmation email to you and your customers.

Regards,

Carrol
