I've had a modification done to VPASP.
It enables you to parse the value of a template to show above the products on search and filtering pages, so you can have extra info above your products instead of just home > search which i think looks crap.
You can see some demos of it here.
http://www.fireworkscrazy.co.uk
if you click on one of the manufacturers links on the bottom left you can see it shows a template at the top of the search results and this template is carried through all the sorting and sub pages.
The templates also work on searches to, so you could actually create a general search header, I havtn done this yet, but it is nice for sub searches.
If you click on the following category
http://www.fireworkscrazy.co.uk/store/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=5&cat=Barrages+/+Cakes+-+Single
You can then see the header for this category. In this i have searches for price ranges, when clicking on these you can specify a header to be returned keeping the searches.
This currently shows a single header for each search, but you could change it for every single one, i.e.
£0 - £10 All the products in this price range are ou budget....
£60+ Here we have our top of the range....
The possibilities are endless.
If anyone is interested in the code for this modification I am willing to release it for a small fee, But there will be limited support as I haven't written the code myself.
