Hi guys,

here is my problem... I can add a long description to my product and it shows up in the cart just fine..

However when i go back to edit the product later the long description is blank then when i save the updated product it is gone from the shopping cart completely..

any help would be appreciated !!!

Hey Joe,

I have encountered a similar issue in the past because I was using SQL Server. However, support was able to help me come to a solution. If you are using SQL Server, you wil need to contact your web hosting company and tell them to:

Open Enterprise Manager, Open the Databases on the folders tree select your shopping600 database

click on "Tables" then right click on the products table and select "Design Table

Select the field "extendeddesc" and move to the bottom of the table design.
