Hello,

Has anyone successfully implemented the Print Labels add-on? Apparently it is not supported so I can't ask Help Desk how to implement it. Having downloaded the add-on, I'm scratching my head as to how to make it work.

The instruction in the $labelsreademe isn't much especially for non-techies. I've compied the 2 files into my directory, so now what? Do I have to edit these files with some details?

Sorry for sounding so dense.

Reuben

Hi,

After uploading the files to your site, all that is needed is to login to the admin system and type in "shopa_labels.asp" into your webbrowser window eg:
http://www.yoursite.com/shoppping/shopa_labels.asp

this will then display a list of unprocessed orders which you can select to print by clicking the checkbox on the right hand side of the page.

Thanks Radek,

It does work. Perhaps support should add this note to the $labelsreademe file.

Hi All,

I managed to add Print Labels to the Admin Menus using the following steps. I thought I might post it here just in case anyone is interested:
1. Go to "Occassional Tasks" and select "Admin Menus" under Navigation.
2. Scroll to the bottom and used the "Add New Menu" form and fill in the following details:
- Menu Name = Print Labels
- File name = shopa_labels.asp
- Comment = Anything you want
- Section = I selected "everyday"
- Menu = Orders (I put it under "Orders" because that's were I wanted it. You could put it under a different menu heading).
- Order = 7 (There were already 6 items on the "Orders" menu in my case so I make it number 7. Yours might be different.
3. Then go to User Control
- Select the VP-ASP userid to use this new menu
- Edit the userid
- Check the Export Orders menu checkbox
Print Lables should now appear on your Orders menu. Click on it and see how it works.

It's free if you have any of the paid for versions. Go to:

http://www.vpasp.com/sales/addons600.asp

and follow the instructions.
