I was trying to make the shopadmin (renamed) secure and moved it to the secure folder and put the path in the security section of the cart setup. I get an error message now and I can't get in to change it.

Which file contains this...... I am hog tied right now and can't do anything

PLEASE HELP!!

You will need to download your database and open the configuration file.

Locate the new path you have entered and change it just to the new name of the admin log in file.

Move your file back to the main folder.

Upload the database to the server.

Open shop$config.asp and change the xshopid name to something new.

Save and upload.

You should now be able to log in as required.

Thank you

Locate the field xadminpage in the configuration table and then change the entry so it is just the new name of admin login page instead of the name and path.

Sorry, I said configuration file before, I meant table.

Thanks,

You will need to download your database and open the configuration table manually using Access.

Thanks,
Cam

I don't have Access. I am using the shopaddtocartnodb.asp method because I have over 900 items.

I am using an html editor called NoteTab Pro to do all my editing.

There has to be a way to do this without access. I am staying online and monitoring this topic so that I can fix it right away

I found access (haven't used it) and tried to open the database, and it came back as "unrecognized database format". I have Office97.... I hate word so I haven't bothered to upgrade.
