Initially I put this in the wrong forum...

I am looking at tawk.to live chat software for my v8 site. However, I don''t know understand how to install it. The instructions are to paste the provided widget code into your websites HTML (just before the </body> tag).

I tried that on various pages. The widget pops up and then disappears. Anybody have any thoughts on how to make this work?

kindly try to add the code in shoppage_header.htm

nope, if it''s just before the close body tag, then you will need to add in shoppage_trailer.htm file

it''s located under your template folder, or you can modify from template/css editor from your backend

I tried the shoppage_trailer.htm file first. At your suggestion, I will try again and let you know....
