I have a suggestion that would probably not be difficult for you guys to do.
Customer pricing is now based on catalog ID and requires alot of work to give customers price breaks on all products. If you distribute than customer pricing becomes a key factor.
Like your qty pricing method a cusstomer should also have a group id for price levels. So it would work something like this:
Each product could have 5 price levels
Price 1
price 2
price 3
price 4
price 5
Each price level has a Price associated with it.
Each customer could have a field for price level:
Price level: 1,2,3,4,5
when a customer logs in that price level they belong to is displayed from the products database, there by easily allowing multiple price levels for customers. No need to update individual Products.
This would work great for distribution and retail: Keep the qty breaks als as an option
