I appended about 2,000 new products to the products table, they are all there when I open the table.

THey are not coming up when I search thru the cart for for them, I get no such product found.

Are there certain fields in the product table that must have a value?

It seems to have something to do with the category table not be updated as it is with the admin.

What do I need to do?

Hi Bob,

When importing you need to ensure that you have a 1 entered in the hide field in the products record. If you are using stock control you wil also need a value in the cstock field as well.

If your products have not been assigned to a category properly you can try running convertproducts.asp to correctly allocate the products to the relevant category.
