I think you can do it on any asp page, no problem (include db at top of page). But, you can't do it on an html page, although there was some discussion on this forum awhile ago that if a customer has been viewing asp pages and then loads an html page, the Server will recognize asp code. Somebody jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong on this (never really tried the sequence).
From another angle, you could include the price via the no database method on any html page. For example: ================ Buy this red widget! $12.70<a href="http://www.yoursitename.com/yourvpaspfoldername/shopaddtocartnodb.asp?Productname=<font size=2> WIDGET IN RED catalog number 12345</font> &price=12.70 &quantity=1"> <img src="vpnav_buy.gif" width="25" height="13" border="0"></a> <hr size="1px" width="100%" align="left" color="#1A5E8B"> ================= The above can be used anywhere, on any type of page, static html (or of course htm, same thing), or asp. |
