How can I offer one of my products for free when customers order total is equal to or greater than $50?
There already is a feature that allows 'Free Shipping when customers order total is equal to a specific $ amount'. It automatically calculates $0 shipping cost with a statement Free Shipping on the Checkout page. I'd like to create the same feature for a Free Product.
This is what I understand and what I don't. I would create the free product (i.e. ID 99), make its price $0, and mark it for free shipping in the product edit section. Then I can update the product Templates with this Promotion and a thumbnail link back to the product for shopper to view full details of free product. However this is as far as I get. How can I customize the 'Free Shipping when customers order total is equal to a specific $ amount' to ''Free Product ID=99 when customers order total is equal to a$50 or more" and if possible how can I add this as a function to turn on and off in the admin area?
Can anyone help?
