 Maillist Authorization messages problem.		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I've configured VP-ASP to send an authorization email to customers signing up for the maillist. I'm also having VP-ASP send me a message when they sign up. I receive the notification that "Customer has registered (Boice):", but my customers do not receive the authorization message. I'm not sure what to check since email appears to be working.

Is this a known problem with a fix??

I switched from aspemail to cdonts and solved the problem; however, the authorization URL does not work. I get the following error when clicking on the authorization URL:

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Problem solved! I had to edit the following line in the file shopmaillistsubs.asp:

url=getconfig("xmysite") & "/shop/shopmaillistauthorize.asp?authcode=" & authcode

I added the directory I installed VP-ASP into to the url path above ("/shop/").
