Please help!!!!

I had made some changes to shoppage_header.htm and layout.css (3 columns) for my client. Now users can't login. After typing valid credentials, VPASP says "Your name cannot be located" I thought I had made some backups of those two files but even after restoring those two, I still get the same error. Admin login works and cart is functioning properly. I see all the categories and can add items to the cart no problem. It's just the login.

Any ideas from the experts? I'm kinda of new to VPASP.

UPDATE:

I can query the SQL DB and get the proper results.

This works ok.

SELECT * FROM CUSTOMERS WHERE EMAIL like 'emailddress of user' AND password like 'password'.

I compared the original files from when I got the software to my current files and the code pretty much looks the same. Any ideas of how I can get debugging messages to show login info? When I turn on debugging, all I get in that page is the SQL for the categories on my left column.

SOLVED--

Simple and dumb. The user credentials were incorrect. It worked all along.
