We are using the FedEx real time calculator. Some of our products are bulky and can weigh over 150. When they are ordered, the FedEx rates calculate with their freight service. However, if a customer adds a smaller item also to the order, FedEx provides the regular overnight and 2 day rates, but they are mixed together in the list of shipping options. So you could select the smaller shipping rate to apply to the whole order.
Does anyone know how to setup the cart or the FedEx calculator to allow customers to select a shipping rate for the heavier freight shipment portion, as well as a separate selection for the smaller part of the order that could go overnight or 2 day? These two costs need to add together for the total shipping for the order rather than being either or.
Can shipping options be selected individually by each product in the cart? |
