Hi Cam, any updates on this?

I would like to update the CAPTCHA element of my current site as soon as possible, for the reasons mentioned above. Are you still going to be making this element available as a module?

We actually have just released an updated CAPTCHA module today.
You can download from:

http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/vpaspcustomer.htm

Select the link for your relevant version. If you are using a version earlier than 6.00 you will need to get in touch through the helpdesk at:

https://helpdesk.vpasp.com

Want to download it. Tells me that my license is more then 12 months old ? Why can't I just download this ? Should be available for everyone I think.

Hi there

You do need a valid license to access our Download Center. We offer 12 months access to the download Center and after that you can extend your license for a further 12 months at a heavily discounted price.

Unfortunately we do not know of these things until we are told.

Hopefully the new module will now solve everyone's problem though.

Spammers are the bane of everyone and we all need to work together to try and block them as much as possible.

I just meant in reference to the 12 month access. I believe we would have been within that 12 back then.

Ahh, apologies. The CAPTCHA has actually only been updated to protect version 600 customers from the spammer.

The CAPTCHA in version 650 has also as a result been updated but this is not a critical update as the protection is already in place. This is why it was not a priority update for us.
