I am kind of confused by how VP-ASP is working. I had to modify something on the default.asp page I simple opened the tmp_default.htm and made my modification and I am done.

I am assuming shopdisplaycategories.asp is using tmp_categorytemplate.htm and I make my changes to this file, but no luck. What I am trying to do is basically display category listing on the homepage, but with some introduction text at the very top and do not want to display that text in the shopdisplaycategories.asp.

The text does not have to be in the database, I can just enter it in the template.

Thanks,
-Serkan

Hello there,

You will need to enable "xcategoryusetemplate" from the shop configuration to use the template on the category listing page.

Regards,
Frank
