Has anyone tried to do an import, using Access that is, into the products database?

I am currently writing some routines to extract the relevant data from distributor (Excel) pricelists and import them into Access. (version 2003/2007 and VP-ASP 6.00).

Really not sure if I can get this to work - and would appreciate anyone's input (pardon the pun...)

the format must be in the correct form, i think needs to be " delimited, try toexport a product you can see how the format is, then use that format when you are importing
