Hi,
Our client has decided to purchase the .com.au for their site and set the site up on an Australian web hosting company, Smartyhost. They previously have had the site set-up on an American host, Go Daddy with .com being their address. They still have .com running, and have had the whole website copied over to the .com.au host. I have spoken to Smarty Host and made sure that the read and write permissions have been set on the database folder, but the test database file is not PASSING. I have made sure the the configurations in shop$config.asp are correct. What else could it be?
Regards
Cara

If you've pulled up the .COM site and then used the same browser session or another Firefox tab to try the .COM.AU site, then you might want to be sure you've got a different xshopid for each site in your SHOP$CONFIG.ASP.

Also, which db type are you using?

Smartyhost have a terrible reputation and could be a part of any problem. Check out this forum for plenty of complaints:
