Using VP-ASP version 5. I get the following error when clicking the secure download link...


Server.MapPath() error 'ASP 0173 : 80004005'

Invalid Path Character

/shopping/shopdownload.asp, line 121

An invalid character was specified in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.

Looks like you have entered the incorrect filename, or at least the filename you typed in has invalid characters such as comma, question mark, asterisk. What value did you enter in the "Download" field?

Full path to downloadable file. I just double-checked and both tests have the correct URL in the 'orderdownload' field.

I also checked the staging temp directory and there aren't any files present. Should there be? I'm not clear on when this transfer is made.

And how is the path to this temp directory entered? URL or machine path?

I tried entering the C:\ path in the download field. Hey! It almost works. That might be good info to include in the documentation.
