What im trying to do is allow customers to purchase multiple variations of a single item with 1 click from shopdisplayproducts.asp

v5.50

Something like this...

[image] - description
red [qty]
blue [qty]
green [qty]

order

and clicking order will add red x qty, blue x qty green x qty to cart.

Rather than how it works now, where if I use product features the customer has to order the red first, then go back to blue, then to green.

I should note that the products are identical in every way exceot for the color. same price, weight, tax , shipping etc etc etc

Inventory products dosnt really do it either as the customer has to purchase each variation seperately (ie each inventory product gets its own order button). Inventory products where the variations of the main product can be all ordered at once from shopdisplayproducts.asp would be perfect but I cant seem to work out how to do it.

Any ideas anyone ?

Hi!

This is exactly how we do some of the products on our site. I described how to do this in a post to this topic:
http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/vpaspforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3216

Look for the message from me that starts with "Yes, this problem caused us much extra work in building our site."

I know its hard to understand from my description, but it looks and operates just as you describe.

Hi Willy99-

I just sent you email.

The best instructions for doing this are the ones I already posted above:
http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/vpaspforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3216
That post references the categories html header instructions here:
http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/vpaspforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2626
which include info for V5.50.

(I never did hear back from Mike)
