I am trying to do one of two things. With Version 4.5 I am trying to either get the "shipping method drop down" to be defaulted to ground shipping so that it automatically says "Ground Shipping" and will register that instead of the "Select Option" phrase.

Now, all of my shipping methods come from the database.
How do I set this......

I would prefer to set the drop down as radio buttons (I have this in a post in customization) preselected to ground shipping. I have the codes to do this but I don't know what to do with them... :(

Any help in this matter would be most appreciative.

Nevermind, I didn't realize that there was a default shipping method within the shopping cart
