We''re using VP-ASP 6.5.

We have customers returning to order and they create new accounts with the same email and different passwords.

Is there a way to enforce a rule that the email address can only be registered once?

Hi,

do you have the setup field xcheckexistingcustomer set to Yes? I think this does a check for both the customer''s name and email address. I can have a look at the code in v6.5 to see if it''s the same as ours.

yeah you can configure xcheckexistingcustomer with version 6.5
