How do I put ''Price on Request'' for one of my products instead of having a price displayed?

I think the easiest way is to create a special template for those products.

Make a copy of your existing tmp_product.htm file and delete the lines including cprice, [ADD_QUANTITY], [ADD_ORDERBUTTON], etc. Then insert a text like "Price on Request" or a field like [translate langPriceOnRequest] to be specified in your language table.

Rename the file to tmp_product_priceonrequest.htm for example. Procede in the same way for the tmp_productformat.htm file. Specify these new template file names in the corresponding product record in order to display the product with them.

i think u can use this setting "xprice0". u try to searching in configuration admin. set to Price on Request. and then the product you want to show Price on Request, need to update price field to 0.
