Hi, forgive me if this question is dumbass.

I've just upgraded my cart to V7 and have many back up copies of my old cart stored on my pc locally. When I point internet explorer to the folder that it is stored in eg: C:\temp it just opens internet explorer rather than a the website (this isn't surprising).

So I uploaded an old back-up to my website and stored it a folder called Oldsite. In oldsite were 3 folders, db, logs & wwwroot. When I explore to www."mywebsitesname"/oldsite, it says "the page cannot be found". I have tried pointing it at index.htm & index.asp but that has the same error.

What do I need to do to:

1) get a locally stored copy working &

2) get a copy working in a subfolder of my online website please?

Many thanks, John

Hi John,

I would suggest to check if IIS is already installed correctly in your computer. This is a web server software that will allows your website loads on your computer.

I also recommend to check this help-note on how to install it:

Hope this helps!
