We have migrated our code to a new server and now I cannot reload menu items from the admin page. I have verified that all the correct folders have read/write/modify permissions, but I still get the following error. please help!

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0046'

Permission denied

/KCMGadmin/shopa_navigation_create.asp, line 153

Did you check the used filepath?

Insert temporarily the following code in the shopa_navigation_create.asp file, lines 151 154:

filepath = getactualfileslocation(request.ServerVariables("SCRIPT_NAME"), "templates/" & templatefolder & "/" & filename, "", "", "no")
response.Write(filepath)
response.End()

set fsobj = server.createobject("scripting.filesystemobject")

Then reload the navigation menu from the admin panel to display the filepath. Check if there are any missing or double slashes (/).

Hi,

Have you also checked the permissions on horonavbar.htm file? I think this is the file that is trying to be modified by shopa_navigation_create.asp page.

Hope this helps!

ahineman, i ever got this kind of issue in my past experience, you just need to enable read/write permission to folder TEMPLATES. if u do not know how to do this, simply tell the web hoster to do it.

Diego.
