Are there any Group Buying add ons or custom developments available?

ie. Daily product with countdown timer and minimum number of orders for sale to happen.

I'm not sure if this is something that you're after, but it does relate to group-buying/multi-buy-discounts:

MultiBuy Discounts for VPASP - BYZ168:

Example uses:
Buy 1, Get One Free (equates to 2-for-1)
3-for-2 (equates to buy-3-get-1-free)
Buy 3, Get 1 half-price
Buy 5, get 2 free (equates to 5-for-3)
Buy 10, get 30% discount on 5

This is intended for special offers where you have multiple products that are part of an offer, where those products can be "counted" in any combination (ie it doesn't matter which of the products you grab off that "discount shelf", each product is counted as an item that's part of the offer).

eg for a buy-1-get-1-free, you can buy any 2 items from the discount shelf (the same item, or different items) and the cheapest one will automatically be free.

which explains it in more detail and which has links to see how it works etc.

For those of you from the UK, this works like the Boots or Tesco mix'n match "3-for-2" kind of thing, or bogof on "shelves" etc. You can have as many "shelves" as you want, all with different offers if you want, and you can even have the same product on more than one of those shelves; it's very flexible.

Generic vpasp has loads of different types of discounts available, but this kind of logic is something we couldn't find, and a couple of people asked us to code it up on their site, so we created an addon for it so that anyone can use it for a small fixed cost (or for free if they're subscribed via BYZ147) rather than as a customisation.

It's hard to explain the subtle (but important) differences between what this addon does and what generic vpasp is capable of doing.

The addon isn't a replacement to generic vpasp discounts, it's an extra option, ie it'll layer the byz multi-buy discount on top of whatever vpasp already allows for discounts, so you can still also have generic vpasp discounts too.

Most of the customers I have built stores for lately have gone on to ask if the site can be made to run Group buying. ie. If 100 customers buy a product in a given number of time they all get a big discount otherwise no sale occurs.

What is needed is some logic to not bill the product unless x number of customers buy it. A countdown timer and countdown for the product group buy to go ahead. ie. 77 more customers need to order for the sale to go ahead.

This kind of site:
