I am after a fix for the following shipping issue ..

I need to be able set different shipping rates for different products without using the weight of the items to do so. I would prefer to manually add the postage amounts to the product description but this might not be possible. It would be ideal to offer a couple of shipping options per item ie standard post or courier.
Any suggestions would be appreciated ..

Hi,

I believe VP-ASP has a shipping method based on products. However, to change so it would not retrieve the rate from weight field, you have to change this code in shopshippingcalc.asp:

const productcostfield = "weight" ' set to other field if necessary

The above code should be located in line 18.
