Does anybody have any comments to make about the methodology of the dynamic url rewrites that VPASP uses.

I know server.transfer is the slick method to use but shouldn't we be using 301 redirects as Google tells us to.

Thanks

Hi Ronnie,

I might be missing what you are asking but we generally use 301's for pages that are no longer used.

For example we set up a 301 for our blog so they point to the new location.

For the SEO rewrites these are generated on the fly and you can have thousands of pages created this way.

Sorry if i am missing what you mean?

Thanks
Cam

Well we have to see

Certainly Google doesn't spider the dynamic Seo properly

http://www.clubbaby.com.au/products/15-tops/Default.asp?page=18 doesn't exist.

amd there are loads of these urls in the SERPS

Hi there

Seems quite weird behaviour.

I have replied to your ticket in the helpdesk.

Will see what I can find.

Thank you.
