We are trying to set our VPASP 7 site for wholesalers, and would require an authorised login set and authorised by us. However, we would like to allow browsing of our product line, without pricing (and without login) for retail browsers. If we turn on fields like Xcustomerrequiresauthorization it seems to turn off product browsing until the user is logged in.
Which fields do we need to set to allow our users authorised access to pricing and ordering while still allowing retail users general browsing access ?

our site is set up exactly the way you want yours except for the authorisation part which we did a workaround for. If a potential wholesale customer wants to see our prices and stock levels we ask them to contact us for a temporary login to access the full facilities. Only after they have successfully applied for a trading account do we allow them to register on the site with login details that we supply, which they can then change if necessary. This means that the whole product catalogue can be browsed by the general public but special offers, publications and other content pages are exclusive to trade account holders only. I am still using v6.50 but I'm sure this can easily be done with v7.0 too.

Think we found the answer; need to set the following fields in Advanced>Software configuration:

Xrestrictedtoexisting - Yes
xallowcustomerregister - No
