If i wanted to have it so the customer could only order one of the product because that is all there is to offer... how would you remove the quantity so it doesn't show up in shopaddtocart?

You cannot easily remove the quantity.

You can set xcheckstocklevel=Yes In shop Configuration

Set the stock to 1 in the product record
This will prevent customer ordering more than one.

In the upcoming VP-ASP 5.0 this is more elegantly handled. You will be able to set a maximum quantity for a product, in your case 1.

The person will no longer see a text box but simply a static quantity and will not be able to alter the quantity.
