I switched our 6.5 cart to mostly css, thus I have the testimonials on our site appearing in quotes using css.

Any time we go in to edit or add, I see this:

Instead of
<p><span class="quotel">“</span> I get:
<p><span class="quotel">“</span>

This
<span class="quoter">”</span></p> is
<span class="quoter">”</span></p>

And this
#8212; NAME is
— NAME

IS there a way to stop this? It is driving me positively BATTY!

Hi,

if you're using quote marks with css you need to make sure you have this line in the header of the page that is displaying the quotes.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

Or alternately you could use gif images for the start and end quoteblock classes

I have that HTML in the shoppage file. The problem is that VP-ASP, as soon as I save or update the record in the admin area, overrights the HTML.
