I really like to check the web for the latest trends and technologies.
So here is a couple of ideas to the 7.0 version if its not too late.
Fly in basket
When you add a product to the shopping cart the product flies into the shopping cart. Cause usability test shows that some customers have troubles finding the min shopping cart.

Tree navigation menu
I think its a must have feature that it possible to have a tree menu with sub catgories. Maybe 2 or 3 sub categories. When you click at the main categori the level 1 subcategories should appear and so on...

Automatic creating thumbnails
It should be much easier to upload multiple images to your products and it should be possible to creating the thumbs at the same time.
