We are testing integration of PayPal and credit card gateway in Ver 6.50. All works well after a little bit of tweaking, but have noticed that when the customer goes to the PayPal site to process payment, it shows the cart amount as USD, which means that our customers (sales limited to Australia) are then being charged more than the website shows because of currency conversion.
Our default (only) currency on the site is AUD, and credit card payments go thru in AUD okay. Have spoken to PayPal who told me that it is because the customer's account with PayPay handles payments in USD. Altered this but the customer still gets the amount shown in USD. Is this a configuration problem in VPASP, or is it PayPal ? |
