I want to be able to add a range of sizes (with different prices) to my product pages

I can't work out how to do this with product features!!

i want the product page to look and work like this:

http://voilesandlace.co.uk/product.asp?ProdID=7

each product DOES NOT have a base price - each size has it's own price.

to have a product feature for each size for every product will produce a ridiculously long product feature dropdown in the add product page?!?!

I had requested for something similar to this and was told VPASP was not capable of doing this. According to Cam in my previous post, you will have to add sub products to accomplish this.
I think this is one area VPASP did not get the product feature option right.

Hi Seanuk,

You can do what you need using the SelectList option working with Features.

Create a feature that has SelectList as the display option and then in the product record add the option you need with the name and the price options separated by a comma.

What this allows you to do is to create a feature on a product by product basis.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
Cam

Hi Sean,

In the SelectList field in the edit product page add something like:

red[$10.00],blue[$12.00]

Assign the SelectList feature to the product as well and then the feature will display as a drop down.

We are trialling Camtasia as a way of creating online movie examples t the moment for things like this to enable customers to see exactly what needs to be done. When we have completed testing we will be starting to create the tutorials.

Curious if anyone else here has used Camtasia?

Thanks
Cam

should i submit a help desk ticket so you can see for yourself?

i'm really frustrated that i can't make sense of this, and worried that my client will really struggle understanding it.

What version are you using?

Best to post a ticket in the help desk as you are correct, the field is not showing up in your site for some reason.

Thanks
Cam

yea cam, I am a curriculum developer/web developer and use both Camtasia studio as well as Captivate from Adobe. I think Captivate is better because of features but camtasia studio is cheaper but will get basic demonstrations done.

Let me know if you need any assistance with any of the tools.
