After reading a recent discussion, I have the following questions.
First I use Authorize.net and don't store any credit card info.
1. Do most people authorize orders first and then capture at a latter date. I currently authorize and capture at the same time.
2. If you authorize first, don't you still get charged the transaction fee even if you don't capture later.
3. I guess a good reason to authorize first is to check if the transaction looks suspicious and to make sure you have the merchandise in stock.
Any feed back would be great.
