I want to do couple of things.

I want to change order button text from "order" to "Add to cart"

I also want to add order button in featured product. I believe [ADD_ORDERBUTTON] will do the trick but I am not sure how to use that.

Any suggestion will be very much appreicated. Thanks

To change the text on the order button go to your Admin panel and Cart Set-Up. Find 14. Buttons and Navigation. Scroll down until you find xbuttontext and insert your add to cart text.

To add an order button in the Featured Products display open the file tmp_topsellers.htm and add the following code under $ Price etc.

<a href="shopaddtocart.asp?productid=[catalogid]&quantity=1">Add to Cart</a>

This should give you a link to add to the cart. The [ADD_ORDERBUTTON] is not suitable for this template (I'm not sure why)

Hope this helps.

Hi Steve,

I think if you're looking to add products with features directly to the cart then the features would have to be already selected; so there doesn't seem to be any point in having product features to select in the first place. I know that sounds a bit confusing, but you would be better to create a separate product which includes the feature in the description and associated price. I don't use the product feature facility on our site, I like things simple and so do our customers. One product - one price, but I do see the advantages and benefits of having features.

I'm not sure that this will help at all, but you did ask.

Hi Carfin,

Thanks for that.

I didn't think there was a way of doing it but you never know.

We have to use product features as we sell lingerie and out of all the software I've used and tested to be honest I've found the VP feature set up to be the best.
