I want to remove the section that says "Welcome to my online store", and I know I can do that by commenting out the section in the shop.asp page, but i can't find the section that i need to comment out.

Or, is there a simpler way to not display this section?

Hi there,

If you open the tmp_default.htm template you can remove this line;

<h1>[translate message]</h1>

This displays the main message from the home page record in the admin.

Use the admin panel's Edit Content facility to alter the heading and any content on the home page for your store. Much easier than altering code in my opinion.

You could disable it from Layout Manager
