We've now released a new version of our GoogleBase feed addon (and the Yahoo Feed addon, although that's not so much of an issue)

There are 2 issues with the GoogleBase feed. One is the VPASP 6.5 issue, and the other is the change to the feed format forced by Google.

The version which is now for sale (V11/18th May 2007) caters for both of those issues.

If you're on a previous version (V10 or prior) then to get your existing GoogleBase feed working on VPASP 6.5, all you need to do is to delete this line from your shopa_generategooglebasefiles.asp file:

Google have revised the format that they require for their feeds, and our new version caters for all of those changes as well as incorporating some enhancements.

So V11 is considered to be a major upgrade of the feed, which means that if you purchased the GoogleBase feed more than 6 months ago (eg 18th November 2006 asat the time of the release of this new version) then you'll need to pay for the upgrade:

But if you bought the GoogleBase feed less than 6 months ago then you're entitled to a free upgrade, in which case just "ask a question" via our help area and we'll then send you the new zip.
