Hi All,
I sell some electronics that have a MAP price (Manufactures advertised price). This is the price I have to show in the product displays. But my discounted sell price can only be shown in the cart at checkout. Any body know how I can do this?

Example In product displays ad would read,
Garmin GPS MAP price $699.99 - see our discounted price in your shopping cart.
Then in the cart I would need to show my actual sell price of $549.99

Hi Jack,

You could use the retailprice field in the products table for your manufacturers prices.

That way you can either display your prices on the template and have the MAP price display with a line through it automatcailly or you could modify the template so it only displays the retail price and not the cprice.

When the item is added to the cart it will only use the cprice so this is what is displayed on the cart pages.

Thanks Cam,

I used price2 for my map price and made a couple of templates that show The map price with a line telling the customer they will see the discounted price in the cart. Works great.
