I'm stumped. I have changed this field in the shop$language_english.asp and uploaded the file to my server. But it is not changing on the site. I've also changed the value for langcommonsoftwarename and that is not changing either. Any answers to what's going on?

Hi Preston,

You can do this by in your admin going to:

Occasional Tasks > International > Edit Language

In the search form insert:

keyword
contains
langcommonsoftwarename

Click Display

Edit the language variable to suit your requirements.

After you have updated click "Back to Languages"

Repeat for the langCommonCopyright change.

You will now need to reset the language change so the system is updated. Click Reset Language and select the language you have changed from the drop down and click Continue.
