I find it strange that if I set couponlimit to 3 and a customer, for some unknown reason, enters the coupon code more than once while shopping or during the first stage of checkout, it counts as a "use" even if they never complete the order. Often times, we want to limit the amount of people who can actually USE the coupon when they complete an order. Setting couponlimit to 1 almost NEVER works because if the customer enters the coupon before they actually check out and then enter it again during the checkout, they are told the coupon has exceeded it's limit - so they think they've entered it wrong and enter it again...and again..and again. The record in vpasp will show that the coupon has been used 15 times, even though no order was ever placed. Seems like this is an issue that needs to be corrected and would stop all of the customer service emails once a coupon is released/issued. A coupon should not be counted as being used until an actual order has been completed.
