Hi: I am testing converting Access to Sql Server 2000, and Have tons of headaches. I am using VPASP 5.5.
EVerything seems to work until when I place an Order. After I add something to the cart,
1. If I don't log in, just enter some name, address, email, etc, and then go to this page: /shopcreateorder.asp, click "checkout", I got his error:
Provider error '80020005'

Type mismatch.

/shop$db.asp, line 1651

URL is still shopcreateorder.asp
2. If I log in as existing customer, and then go to this page: /shopcreateorder.asp, click "checkout", URL chnages to this:
/shoperror.asp?msg=Order+has+been+processed
and on screen, message says below:
Order has been processed

Don't know what is really going, any ideas?

Can we really convert from access to sql server? I mean, everything works fine in the old Access Database, and I didn't change any code.
Thanks a lot.

Guys:
Never Mind. It's been Pain in the Butt to convert Access to Sql Server. VPASP itself didn't provide sufficient Instructions. Thanks to the BigYellowZone.com Simon's Prompt, Detailed, Unselfish, Smart Help, I was able to convert to Sql Server. Without Him, we will spin our tails for hours and days more of frustration. Thanks a million. Simon of BigYellowZone.com is the Best.
We have used their Add-on before, their products are easy to install, and great in functions. All Treasure. Mark my works, Simon is the Best !
