I have the vpasp plus installed however I get this on my page and I know the page shouldn't look like this http://wgconline.org/bookshop/default.asp
I am getting unknown lang on a windows server using MYSQL. Anyone knows what's going on? |

Looks like the database connection is not setup right. You still have the Diag_dbtest.asp file out there so I ran the DB test and it failed.

I did follow the direction and I have the mysql db up however I do not know what I am doing wrong here. |

I've always used Access or MS SQL so I can't help with getting MySQL working. Try running a search against this forum for the past year for MySQL. I'll bet you find some topics with helpful stuff. If not, reply here for more help again.

Well, MYSQL isn't working for me. So I am trying to use access to start with then covert to MSSQL, but its the same problem I have tested the it through the diagnostics file, it passed but its still not working. Support help! |

so now you are using access? is this where your access database located? C:\hshome\wgconlin\wgconline.org\bookshop\wgconli_shop.mdb i tried to browse through your product and got that |

Yes! Hmmmm I just saw something, there should be a database folder before the database name. let me check.
Actually, I even changed the name thinking that could resolve anything but it doeasn't. I changed the file name to wgcbookshop.mdb
And when I try to get to my admin file this is the error I get
ADODB.Connection error '800a0e78'
Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.
/bookshop/adminvault.asp, line 137 ok this should be simple but it's beginning to be tedious. |

This is mind boggling , I have the free version which works perfectly fine, but the one I bougt for $350 doesn't work. |

that line means your database config arent setup properly still, have you given read/write permission to your access database folder? |

yes I have the access dbase is set up properly. i don't know if it's feeding its info from cache or not. |
