Has anyone created an add on like javaleftnav600 that would sit below the header bar instead of in the left column? Or is there a simple solution to make this one horizontal navigation instead of vertical?

I know that I can key in the categories, but I would really like the menu to be dynamically generated at run time like javaleftnav600.

Would anyone be interested in modifying the existing one?
