ok, i got the catextra field to work....... works great other then the fact that it puts a page 1 of 1 at the bottom of the html file. Is there a way to get rid of this?

you will need to disable this line
response.write "<p align=center><p><font size=10 color='#666666'>" & getlang("langCommonPage") & " " & mypage & getlang("langCommonOf") & " " & maxpages & smallinfoend

and where is that file at? and will that affect the page numbers for the products?

then you edit shopdisplayproducts.asp and disable the line i mentioned earlier, but it will affect all products
