Hi,
I have added some text in the "catmemo" field to give an overview of each categories which I want to display underneath the category name. However, although the order of the categories is being correctly sorted according to this field, the content is not displayed at all. Any ideas what the problem is please? My current settings are as follows:
xsortcategories [catmemo]
xcategorydisplaytext [yes}
xcategoryproductsonly [no]
Any help gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

| by default the catmemo should displayed under the category headings, you probably modify you template, maybe compare yours and the original one, thats if you are using the current version |

Just to clarify, I am using the Deluxe Pac v.6.09. I have double-checked the tmp_categorytemplate.htm file and this has not been modified at all so I am at a complete loss as to why "catmemo" will not display.
If anybody has any other thoughts this would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sorry Kidd, my last post crossed with yours otherwise I would have thanked you. I just made a lucky guess with the file. Thanks for coming back on this but as you can see I am still stuck.

| its a bit weird, because if you see a fresh install of vp-asp 6.09, click the products menu, under the product category you will see the catmemo straight away. |

I think you guys are referring to different things...go4gold, I think you are talking about displaying catmemo at the top, whereas Kidd is talking about displaying catmemo under the subcategory thumbnails.
I had a quick look and it may be worth contacting vpasp for help, as there seems to be a few modifications... |

Thanks for your help guys. I contacted support and apparently it is not possible to display catmemo at the top without customisation of the code unless you have subcategories which I do not. I will try and find another way if I can. Thanks again.
