Can anyone tell me how to move the database. My host has the database folder outside of the root folder. I need to be able change the connection string to go up one folder to a database folder called DB

Any ideas

it's in shop$config.asp

you'd change the location, for example, from "myvpaspdatabase" to "../myvpaspdatabase"

then change the xshopid to force the system to pickup the new location

if your host doesn't allow parent-paths, then get them to enable them (if they're asking you to move it, then I assume they will have that enabled by default)
