Hi there,

I don't even know if this is possible but i thought i would ask the question.

What i would like to do is create some gif or jpg images for the left menu to use as its buttons, rather than the standard grey backgounds with text links.

Any ideas?

Hi,

You will need to modify the NavigateShowCategoriesStyled subroutine in shopproductsubs.asp around line 296.

Currently, the text links are generated using the code:

if hasSubcategory ="" then
mylink="<a HREF=""shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=" & cid & "&cat=" & Server.URLEncode(name) & addwebsesslink & """>" & name & "</a>"
else
mylink="<a HREF=""shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=" & cid & "&cat=" & Server.URLEncode(name) & addwebsesslink & """>" & name & "...</a>"
end if


This would need to be modified to handle your images.

I have VPASP 7 plus. how can we use some gif or jpg images for the left menu categeries to use as its buttons, rather than the standard grey backgounds with text links
