Im currently migrtaing my site to a dedicated server, and my host has asked me to point my site to the ip address how do i do this??

I dont understand what there asking me to within the vp-asp system

This sounds more like something for you to be doing with your domain registrar and the DNS entries.

Thanks for the reply he has now clarified that he was talking about the hosts file in the System32 folder.
